Default Boogie Board Airboat with Zenoah 260PUM

Hi to everyone, after building my first airboat (flatbottom with 38cc Zen) i decided to make another one out of a boogie board, laminated with 2layerfiberglass, the bootom was reinforced with a sheam plate and extended the flatbottom at the rear with a little 1/8 ply, i used zenoah g260pum from my other boat to see how it will run in an airboat, fabricated stainless exhaust pipe for my tuned pipe and also mounted water pump for sure cooling, havent tested her yet as the sea in my place is still rough , hope by begining of May i can see her first run in calm water.

you just put the wrong way forward, there should be a flat side and a curved side, the flat side should be facing the back of the boat.

hi rangerfredbob, now i know what you mean, i really have no idea about airplane prop,.. so the leading edge is the thick side, coming from boats i have a different impression on props, thanks and i am going to fix both tonight...haha been running the engine with backward props all along..hope it didnt damage or changed the airfoil somehow, thanks again!

haha thanks i was long thinking about your comment on my first post re 38cc zen and never tought of the prop proper orientation, so i learned today that the prop of an airplane is like a rotating wing, nice! i think it will be pulling more this time.

Will be interesting to see how she runs with that tuned pipe!
Have you had a tach. on that combo to see what max RPM's it hits?
How is your COG, is it around 30% from the rear? Hard to tell how she balances from the pics.
Looking foreward to see a vid. when you get her out!
