Default Polish AirBoat

Hello all AirBoat Fans.

At the outset we would like to present.
We are Marek and Wojtek from Poland from Oświęcim. We build AirBoats from 2009 year.

Our first AirBoat was AirBoat ,,Elektryk"

Construction was made from styrofoarm and plywood. Model was painted emanel water. From this model our adventure with AirBoats was started.

Here are our models.

And this is out last model.

You can watch moves from swimming on our canal on YouTube http://www.youtube.com/user/imperator2024
We invite everyone to discuss about AirBoats.
Sorry for our English.

Greetings to all AirBoat fans.

Marek&Wojtek

P.S. If we made something wrong, we are asking for tips to us.

Hello Jeremy,
Thanks for your opinion.
Is it in you is so little interest in AirBoats ? ? ?
Here is negligible. I think people do not know how to swim on this boats.
How long do you build AirBoats ? ? ?Do you prefer electric or internal combustion engines ? ? ?

Greetings to all AirBoat fans.

I have never seen another airboat at any of the ponds I have used, I do not know why. I built my first airboat in 1973 (I can remember because I had an engine for my 13th birthday, a Frog 249 :-). I've made a few since then. I like them because they are simple, and rewarding. I have always used IC, and as the new brushless motors compete with IC now I am building the twin engine airboat in electric too, my first time with electrics other than cars.

Very nice boats Marek!

Ive been building since late 2010. I've built 6 boats, one total flop, one needing redesigned sponsons, and one with too small of a step in the hull. I currently have 4 boats ready to run with a new build on the table soon due to new engines coming into possession. I run glow engines exclusively.

Hello.
The problem was solved with a computer, the hard drive can be bought and work. Our electrical AirBoat despite konstruction backbone unless they are too heavy for the weak fall driffty.

That is why we prefer AirBoat combustion. Our goal is to learn as drifftować like this movie.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WH_Rw7VqsKw

Something fantastic especially the turnover in 1:05. Phenomenal control over AirBoat.
It seems to us that it should be constructed so that its weight kabłub was neither too large nor too small for the engine power. If it all fits and spend the right amount of coaching hours is such a rotation can also be done AirBoat RC. Well, unless you have someone with you can do something like this we would ask about the movie.

Greetings from Poland
Marek&Wojtek

Hello.
We've been in competitions FSR models. Here's a short video.

These models are a bit faster than Airboats.

Hello.
Thanks Jeremy. When we will record a film from swimming we put it immediately. We must to make this elements manually, because for a few pieces it doesn't have a sense. Except we might sell it in large quantity.

Hi all modelers forum . We wish you all the best for the New Year 2014 , the same successful design, and starts. : wv

Last year we did not have much time to make the models but few structures arose. One of them is presented below .
The first attempts AirBoat 7 in winter unfortunately been przeprowadone on the water. We were waiting for snow, never received , and probably will not live to see . Therefore, attempts to take on water. Now, specifically , the model weighs 2400g (with all accessories) , is powered by a 900W motor Emax , we tested three types of śmiegieł EMP 11x7 , 10x8 Graupner , and the third propeller of unknown origin , but has written propeller 240x170 . When all attempts of these propellers hull did not behave too stable , and even also the speed was much smaller than expected. We'll see how he will keep the snow if this year at all fall. In this case, the shape of the hull can not be drifftować . At least for the time being we have failed to achieve. Attempts will continue to carry out , but we see the black hull , does not meet our expectations. The only advantage of this hull is that the sides of the upper portion is at an angle which makes the hull is less cranky (tested in several models ) . After these tests , we concluded that the hulls simple such as AirBoat 5, exhaust and 7.5 ccm 26ccm ( first version ) are preferred for fast swimming and drifftowania . Make these include only the upper side at an angle and models will be very well sailed . One more thing, for beginners electrics are sufficient , but you need to stock up on 2 packages to swim longer and for those more demanding in good conscience recommend the fumes .
Below the video of our trials.

Hello.
Thank you Jeremy. Rudders are made very simple. They're made from two pieces of plywood 1,5mm and between them is metal rod fi 3mm. AirBoat 7 will be show after mount OS Max 32AX engine.
