Default waterproof servos blasted by props

i have a dumas bsb that is nearly done. i want to put the servos under the gas tank - getting pressure washed by the prop and i cant believe the servos will last more than a year.
---
any suggestions? should i go for it and just rebuild them twice a year or what? do i need wind/water blockers? i would prefer going nude rather than to put the wind blockers on it.

thanks

The 90 degree bellcranks ($2) work well, why abandon the compartment that protects your electronics? http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXD938&P=7

Whatever you're doing to seal the servo lead to the receiver would certainly work for sealing the nyrod from water traveling into the compartment, or petroleum jelly can block any water spray from entering the compartment.

You could make a servo enclosure behind the engine mount and let the arm protrude out of it as they do on many ARFs that use two servos for ailerons as shown in the pics.

well thats the thing i like talking to you regardless/ but my question is a lab rat actually. i really want to hang the servos on their side and blast them with water to finish my build the way i see it in my head. it is putting form before function actually not the other way around like usual.
i have a milling machine and i see how i want it carried out but im searching for forwarning to problems.

---
i assume i will get many answers yes and no. it is to early to make my mind up. dont assume however anyone wants my opinion because i cant answer my own questions. that would be absurd.
