Default My Daughter's scratch airboat

Started simple for testing then built a pine and cedar hull.
30"x14.5”
.
Went from a 380 brushed 5.5" prop to a 35x42mm 1100kv outrunner and a 10x7 MAS
Planning dual rudders.
Finished hull should weight about 3lbs.
No plans or prints.just building a hull large enough for my daughter's Barbies.

Anymore progress on the airboat ? Always wanted to build an airboat, but mine would be large enough for a 25 to 30cc gas engine. What I like about an airboat is that it isn't just limited to water as we get enough snow to keep it going on snow all winter. There's large fields in my area where I could let it rip.
I see you live in Lousianna. My daughter lives and works in New Orleans and doesn't miss the winters up here.

I used to do some fishing off Grand Isle, about 60 miles or so out to the blue water. Wow, an airboat for Barbies, that's some girl ya got there.

Grand Isle is about 40 miles away from me.
I fly over all the time on my way offshore.
Im in at GC-645 currently.

She has varouis dolls and likes them to ride in the rc trucks and boats.
We ride our real boat(GoDevil Longtail) to remote ponds with miles of grass and weeded waters so an airboat is in order.

My daughter is 7 years old.My lil sidekick......when I am home.
