The deal ? Well , we were having high 40's to low 50's , no snow , and the lake was thawing ( ) .
Now , today .... outta nowhere we get two inches of snow dumped on us . []
It was starting to look like spring ( which is only one week away ) was starting . [&o]

Got you beat here Terbo.........
This past weekend, I drove our church youth group to a weekend winter retreat about two hours north of where I live. Upon arrival, they had snow banks 7-8' high on the sides of the roads from a storm earlier in the week. On saturday, the day after we arrived, white out conditions brought another 9". The kids had LOTS of fun
The ironic thing is that back home, we got grass already turning green with most of the snow already gone. My part of the state got rain that day!

You should see how much snow northern BC gets. As for the snow falling, take your boat out for a rip in the field or on the frozen lake

LOL ... well , didn't take them out on the frozen lake , or the fields ,
did take her two of them out on the "bigger" ( wider ) section of the creek ( about 15 foot across . An easy retrieval -) after the waterfalls .
Aside from the current , she ran pretty good . ( but , this is one of those cases of ONE WAY ONLY - )
Going with the current , man , she seemed like she was hauling donkey butt , but going te other way was a totally different story
Otherwise , hit a bush that was sticking out the side of the bank going pretty fast and now I need to re-do a rudder on one of my boats [] ( big deal - ten minutes worth of time .
Now for the good news . I also took that little shallow vee mono airboat out for the first time . Well , the story of how the big one got away is kinda like this story , so , rather than hand you a line and try and convince you on how GREAT it ran , I will wait till I can talk the wife into going and video taping it ( hopefully SOON ! )
