RE: The latest "CAT BOAT"
How in the world did you manage to pull this off ???
Cats are inheirently afraid of water.
Nice boat too
What are the specs, propulsion?
I've got a 1/50 scale ocean going tug I've been working on for about 6 months now. Tedious, but rewarding work involved. With any luck, I should have it ready to float by the time the water freezes again...[X(]

RE: The latest "CAT BOAT"
This cat loves the boats, so much that the wife and I can not ride the paddle boat with out the cat crying to go.
This a hull I started a little over a week ago. Its 62" x 17". Have made up my mind on how many but it will be powered by 12 vote electric motors.
But the bad news is the wife has grounded me, she said I can not buy anymore parts for the boats unless I sell some.

Hal....I'm very impressed on your inovations and progress, not to mention the design.
Read through the entire thread.
My scale project, Amsterdam tug, (1/50 scale) is also my first scale boat. I decieded to go with a kit for my first try. A beautiful kit by the way. Still very labor intensive. I counted up over 1000 parts. There are 3 ladders that come to 75 pieces themselves. Been working on and off for about 6 months, but now almost everyday for the past couple weeks. Yea, once you get going it's hard to stop.
Is this representative to the types of boat you use now on the rigs?

The hull came together quick, but all of the small pieces are taking some time, life rafts and rings tires, all out of wood.
Its gonna be a while before I get to run it, but I will get a vid. when I do.
