Default Building my first......

where do I get the foam and how do I cut it?
I want to make an electric airboat airboat.
What is a good size to make it? I want it big yeat fast.

SWEETZ28 can help you out with size and set up.. He seems to have 'some' experience here with the electrics[8D]
There are others here that can help out also.
As for the foam, any building supply should have it. Home depot, Lowe's, Build-it etc. You may even get lucky and they'll have some busted sheets that you can get for a song....

cool, im going to be using a gws 400 motor. I was thinking about 36" is that too big?

For something that size, you will want to use a much bigger motor, something like a Speed 700 on 10-12 sub-c cells.

For a small 400 series, something in the range of 20-22" should have decent speed on 6-7 2/3a cells.
