Default "good R/C hovercraft"

I think this forum is as close to the best place as I can figure to ask. so here we go... I am interested in building a R/C hovercraft. a good one, "hobby grade" not toy grade like the tycos and such. I have done some searching and have come up empty handed. I have not found any production kits or any info on r/c hovercraft. I would like to build something either nitro or even gas powered. if there is nothing out there I might even scratch build one.

dose anyone have any info that might be helpful? either pics or links or just plain info. any help that can be offered would be graciously accepted.

Thanks, Mike

If I were you...I would buy one of the bigger tyco plastic ones and rip those electric propulsion motors off and add a .15 or .25 Nitro and add air rudders THAT SOULD RIP.

my son has the littler tyco - and it is very limited to extremely smooth surfaces. Not so good on water either.

At least the skirt /down fan ? and weight distribution are correct on these, I think THOSE things would be TOUGH as a scratch built.

Check out http://www.gohover.com
The GH-C is a great customizable kit. It doesn't come with the RC stuff, but it doesn't need much.

I just received and built my hovercraft today from http://www.gohover.com .
It is sooo easy to build and fun to drive!

The best thing is that the kits are sooo customizable!!
The are cheap...
