Firebird Outlaw into airboat?
I'm looking to possibly take one of my Firebird Outlaw park flyers and make it into an airboat using supplied electronics and motors. For those of you who are not familiar, it is a twin motor, differential-throttle steering, park flyer.
I was wondering what size hull would be good for it? Maybe something around 8x12 inches? I won't need a rudder with the differential steering, just the two motors on some type of pod system and a decent flatbottom hull.
Any ideas? Thanks, Nick

I made one similar to what you are wanting to try.

RE: Firebird Outlaw into airboat?
Somebody built one probably a good year ago and it scooted right along. I had thought about doing the same thing after I bought an Outlaw to mess with and found out that I still can't fly but have the crashing part down real well. One motor wouldn't work so that idea went out the window.
