Default AirBoat V3.0 - Finished:D

Hi guys.
For the past 2 months I've being building an Airboat
It's finally Nearly finished, Just waiting for some glue to dry and to install the fuel tank.
It's taken me two other Airboats to learn from my mistakes
Normy I would do a Step-by-step build thread, but I lost confidants in my self with the other build
threads I did, because I didn't finish building them lol.
So this time I just Built an Airboat with out telling anyone, that way if I stuffed up I wouldn't look stupid hahah.
I chose to build it out of Coroplast because 1, It's light and easy to work with, and two, because I'm a collage
student, I don't have a Large income of $$$

Specs: L: 65cm W: 52cm H: 4.5cm
engine: OS 46

So far it's cost me $29(AU) to build.

Please forgive me if the pics are too large...

Still gotta run in the engine, so ill put a tank through it on land...See how it gos on grass.
Than get a video of it's Madden voyage on the water.
Oh, this all depends if the engine stand holds up hahaha.
And it weighs in at 2.4kg. Is this to heavy?

That just seems amazing to me. You making a nitro powered airboat from that plastic poster board stuff. Well done! [sm=thumbup.gif]

Well done!

I've built many coroplast boats, some successful and others not so much but that's true of any material.

That boat is pretty wide so be ready for it to flip. I had one of similar dimensions that was a blast to run but it spent time upside down as well.

They get wet ! BUT you get the water out of them and start them back up . Take the plug out and spin it over with a starter . Blow the water out of the glow plug . Check the plug with a igniter . Put the plug back in . Make sure you don't have any water in your fuel . Start it up . Its a good idea to get it running as soon after a dunk as you can cause if left with water in it the motor will rust up on the inside .
