Well , three bad things ...
1) - Right now , we are in a winter snow watch with snow accumulations of 6 to 8 inches ...
2) I am right now , sicker than sick with some kind of dag gum flu !
3) Read the weather forcast for down there and they are saying thunderstorms and rain .[&o]
So... this one I am gonna have to pass on , even though our reservations are made .
But .... on the good side , my buddy will still be going down .
Sorry guys , between the snow , and my flu ... gonna have to sit this one out at home . BUT , I am expecting to see all kinds of pics and vids of this swarrey ( don't think thats how its spelled ... LOL )

Sorry to hear that your down Rob, hope you get to feeling better. My son and I are leaving out at 4 in morning, with a truck and trailer loaded with boats. 3 gassers, 2300 nitro, 3-90 nitros, 61 nitro, 55 nitro, 45 nitro, 25 nitro and a twin 46 nitro. If your in the area and don't have a boat ready and have some experiance, I may have a boat for you to use.
Hoping that I have enough chickhen legs to keep all of them Gators from getting away from me
Cajun Gator Airboats catching the gator by the tail and hanging on for the ride, cause we gonna pass a good time

Had a great time, the weather was a little tough on Saturday, but the fun factor over came that, sunday was great. Was nice to meet a few new guys to the sport. Had great compotition. I would like to thank the sponsers of Rockaway Beach for the awards, thank you very much.
One new speed record was set for the hydro class at 48.7mph with a unofficial speed of 52mph. With this boat I'm hoping after all of the tuning is done, to reach the 60mph mark.

GPS. The engine is still in the break in and some tuning is needed to the hull. It also handles the oval trak like a champ.

I had a good time . There were some new folks there and enjoyed meeting and talking with them and hope to see them again . Saw a lot of good running boats and was glad to see more boats there than last year . I want to thank the people who put this event together and all of the sponsers for the great trophys and prizes and support .
