Hi yip more problems lol
I put a 6oz tank up top at the engine was a bit top heavy so put a 16oz tank in the hull and a 1oz tank at the engine with the 16oz feeding it my engine did not like it so put an anti return valve between the exhaust and 16oz tank to give it lots of pressure to fill the small tank the engine ran for a min then cut out so run the small 6oz tank up top a bit top heavy but hopefully be okay got a new engine today an Irvine brand new piston and liner so need to run it in hopefully be better than the ripmax 40 i had lol
Perry pump like how do i fit it lol i not got crank case pressure how do i connect it to my engine!!

RE: fuel tank problems
if you can, i would try to mount the engine upsidown...that would lower the CoG enough to counter the higher mounted fuel tank...either that or try to mount the tank under the mounting plate the motor is on....

installing a check valve on the pressure side will give other problems, flooding of the engine. On my boats the tank is mounted just under the engine, only thing that needed to be done was opening the low end needle.

Gret yourself a PERRY pump , tap into the crankcase , and wha-la ... you can THEN , put your fuel cell almost anywhere you want . ( I've already ran the fuel cell , aprox 4 inches in front of , and aprox 8 inches below the lowest point of the engine and runs perfect . )

RE: fuel tank problems
You have more trouble than anyone i know [X(] I`ve not had any flooding problems with the valves........... yet , different set ups/engines get different problems ? As saleens7 said, and i`ve said many times, mount the engine upsidown, and then you can lower the tank too for a lower C of G .
It looks like you might have to give a perry pump a try, i couldn`t find any in the UK on ebay.co.uk , but found these in the USA.
I`m sure some UK model shops sell them too.

or you could try these

You could buy a crate of them after you sell the Tank Boat

RE: fuel tank problems
Is it an external Perry , like the model V30 , for example ? Or is it one that is part of the engines back plate ? If the latter , then there is no way , unless you are going to use the same style engine for the airboat ( IE- 40 K&B marine to a K&B airplane )
If its just an external Perry , simple ........
Just tap your engines crank case , fit it with a small barbed nipple ( this is where you get the suction pressure required for the Perry to operate ) and the other two lines go to the fuel cell and one to the carbs nipple .
Nice thing about a Perry .... ALWAYS steady , regular pressure ( think they claim 25 lbs ) going to the fuel cell , which means , NO more running too lean at idle .
