wing in ground effect boat
the russians first exploited this concept. a wing flying cloes enought to the water or runway for land planes creates a cushion of that supports the craft greatly increaseing range and speed. i was looking to design and bulid on of these veichles but i need some help on the design. i had a crude drawing of one but i don't think it will work.

Thinking this will be more suited to the RC airboat forum considering the propulsion method.

I am a big fan of the technology, just not a good pilot. This is what led me to airboats
I recommend SE Technologies site as a starting point - http://www.se-technology.com/wig/index.php
There is a model section there.
Try http://www.du-groundeffect.com/wig.html as well.
