"Holy crap! Nice!" was the first thing that came to mind.

Everyone be sure to enlarge it or it's no good (or is it?).

P.S. that would make for a cool avatar.

Thanks

It is a sctratch built boat from balsa and birch 27.5x15.5x2. Sealed with a couple coats of polyurethane and painted with rustoleum steel gray. The cage is made from brass rod soldered together, reinforced with jb weld and sits on rubber o-rings to soak up vibration. It's powered by a O.S. .40LA w/ 10x6 prop and has futaba eletronics. This is my third scatch built airboat and is not perfect by any means, but it's my favorite so far. Also thanks to everyone here and rcairboats.net for the great info. Your knowledge was instrumental in this build.

That's a neat looking boat you have and great pics too. Have you tested the boat? It looks like it would run on snow, ice any surface.

Great looking boats lipdaddy and jadenico.

Jadenico, what is that gas tank made from? It looks pretty cool.
And what did you do to it? The "cap" looks a bit confusing.
Thanks.

Interesting how you lowered the engine mount and mounted the motor upside down look like that boat might go pretty good. Nice boats Jadenico

Below , pictures of my airboats made in fiberglass.

The first plan of manufacture according to the hydro-spark (CHISPA 40). the second reference used in the first, but changed the half-tunnel and third sense based on plans tedjones, U7 and thirfwaytoo ...

This boat has been tested and is pretty quick. Sorry no videos as of yet, but yesterday it went airborne, flipped and landed rightside up. I was sooo stoked!.

On Water makes it even more exciting ! if it doesn't make it - you have some retrieving to do.
The beauty of snow - especially fresh light powder - is if you do the massive flip you can just walk over and retrive it... and if it's light and deep enough there is little chance of damage.
