Sweet video, I love the acceleration in the turns. Glad to see an airboat going that kind of speed too.

All I'm wondering is, why not put a .75 on it and see what happens? More than likely another speed record, one flying by 50mph for sure. Not sure what engine was used, but if weight is the issue behind not using a bigger motor, just a tip, the Tower engines are the lightest I've come by while searching.

Thats for the compliments!

There has been a few minor mods since this run, we are going out soon to see if we can get more out of it.

We currently have no categories for electrics, but we know that one day someone is going to go electric. We have not seen much interest in the electric airboats at this time. But as soon as someone does, we'll start categorizing them.

I look forward to seeing what you do. Keep in touch.

Thanks for showing interest in our record attempts. A pm has been sent. As for Tim we have not heard much form him since the start of his build. I'm sure he will pop in to see your question. If not just drop him a pm.

Nitro has hit 50.2 mph (undocumented), we are going out Saturday to document if the weather permits.

he's selling the boat in kits much like cajungator airboats are.
the kit comes in pre-fabricated form and in a kit so you can make it youself.

oh and jsut to burst your bubble....rowboat has a rossi .91 to put on his SI 3 pointer[>:][>:]

Not sure what Mike has done with it. I know the motor was new when he put it on, so its probably starting to loosen up a bit.
Not to mention, he must be staying in the throttle a bit more. In his latest record video, you can see that he's not holding WOT for long at all. Another contributor is that he's getting acquainted with the boat.

He is running 10% in his engine. Thats what he prefers for his motors.

Looks like we are going to have some windy conditions tomorrow, 15 mph winds by noon time. More than likely no running tomorrow.
