to my knowledge, Chris never made a fiberglass hull....he did however lend one of his hulls to someone who did make a mold and made himself a fiberglass hull, but I forget his name.

Yes, both of you are correct. That project has been abandoned.
Curious as to why you are wanting a fiberglass hull?
In my opinion, its faster to just glass over a foam plug.

Keep in mind that lighter does not necessarily mean faster. When I switched from foam boats to wood, I gained a small amount of weight.....I also gained some speed also. Boats that are ultra-light (especially flat bottom styles) will be more subject to blow-overs.
