Default Electric Canard

This is my latest project . It has an E-Flite 480 Park Outrunner motor turning a 9X6 APC E prop . It has an Electrifly Silver Series 45 amp ESC and a E-flite 3200 mah 11.1 volt battery . The motor puts out about 3lbs 4 ozs of thrust and the boat weighs about 2lbs 10 ozs . My thrust figures are taken from my own thrust machine so may or may not be accurate . It goes pretty good on the grass but I haven't got to the lake with it yet . The link is to an album with more pictures .

Some of the pictures were taken before I made some changes so a few items will be different .

Great looking boat!

I'd really like to see some vids of that steering mechanism in action. I've toyed with that idea myself.
