Ok Didnt get as much done as I wanted to get done but managed to make a little progress today..

Finished smoothing in the pylon with chopped glass...I used a product called dyna glass its fiberglass strands cut short and mixed with resin. works like bondo cept its glass..once set its as hard as glass and as strong they make another type of it called tiger hair..its the same stuff except it uses long strand fiberglass and is stronger than the dyna glass..so tomorrow Ill try to get the bondo on it to smooth it all up real nice..heres a couple pics enjoy

As for your choice of engine, I put an OS .15 on my windy and it was a scary handful[sm=drowning.gif]. I wish you much luck with the big engine.

I totaly get where your coming from on the big engine..but like I said my brother in law errrrrr actualy my nephew has one with a os .32 on it we have done everything imaginable with the little boat and I dont think anyone has flipped it yet!!! we all (my brother in law and nephew ) agree it could probably still stand a bit more power so ill try the .40 and see what happens..if its to much I can always change it out easy enough...
hey guys! wheres a good place to order props from? the LHS doesnt stock much in the way of props..lookin for a 9x6 3 blade

srw1960 - Hope you get better quick. Here's a video I posted elsewhere of my 20 year old windy swamp buggy http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/fb.asp?m=9366516

It really moves with the OS 15.
Steve
