Big Swamp Buggy Mods.
I am refurbishing my well worn Dumas buggy.
I have to rebuild the rudder pivots, as they have gotten very
sloppy. ? How woulda single rudder work on the boat?.
I know that two rudders are more in the prop blast,but it turns plenty
fast for me.. I could increase the size of the rudder to help keep
the area the same if needed. I am using K&B .61 swinging a 10x8 prop.

Single rudder will turn the boat, but may not give you the responce your looking for. Try a 11" prop on that .61 you may like it better.

Thnks CG for the reply. your right about the prop.
I have ordered a 11 inch 3 blade, and a new starter cup.
I hand flip a two blade, but I don't think I'm fast enough to
try three blades. If I cut off a finger it would make harder
to build my next boat LOL The lake I play in is still hard.
So I still have building time.
Having this much fun must be illegal
