CLD Mini R/C Anarchy Airboat
Here is a mini R/C airboat that I'm working on, good for pools or small ponds etc. I'm testing it right now with a 2S lipo 250mAh, and a litlle brushed motor, is not glazed yet butit's moving, amini brushless motor will make this airboat fly. More updates soon.

RE: CLD Mini R/C Anarchy Airboat
For now it's just the kit, I will provide measurements so people can look for a good motor/esc combo, right now I'm using GWS 15amp ESC and a GWS motor "just for testing" I will have 2 versions of it one as a KITand BUILT both without electronics.

Here is a pic of the internal room, the ESC will be located at the back of the hull under the motor area. Tomorrow I will have pics with a brushless setup on it and videos too.

RE: CLD Mini R/C Anarchy Airboat
Here is another video with the brushless setup that Im offering on the combo, is an inrunner feigao motor, with a 10amp ESC, but it will have an aluminum propeller hub instead of the one that I have in the video wich doesn't hold the propeller in place.
youtube is still processing the video

RE: CLD Mini R/C Anarchy Airboat
Ok I finally was able to hold the propeller in place after doing some reading, the brushless setup is a 4255kv inrunner motor with a 10amp ESC, on a 2S lipo @ 1350mAh. this is a customers airboat, I will deliver the airboat today and do some testing on a pool and see how it works.
Here is the video:
Is hard to control at full speed on the carpet, you have power to spare.

RE: CLD Mini R/C Anarchy Airboat
I thought that might be the motor you were talking about sunday. Do you think your boat will even stay on the water with that monster? It will definately be very interesting. You may have to call it an airboatplane. Dennis

RE: CLD Mini R/C Anarchy Airboat
Yeap that's the motor I was talking about on sunday, Equivalent to a 60cc-80cc engine, I might have to add an spoiler to the rear or front of the airboat to keep it on the water. I might be looking at some motors at my local hobby shop too, they have some big ones that could work.

RE: CLD Mini R/C Anarchy Airboat
Finally a water test, all I can say is WOW, this little thing is fast, I need a bigger pool, I will be improving some parts to get better control.
