RE: super tigre 45
You are probably looking at a new piston and sleeve. Unless your head or glow plug is loose, they(piston & sleeve) are wore out. Good luck with it. Dennis

RE: super tigre 45
It is usually cheaper to buy a new engine. Because if you Diagnose the engine problem wrong you could end up spending more money to fix the engine than what it cost to buy a new engine. A new engine is good for a few years with no problems !

RE: super tigre 45
It could be just well broke in. The Super Tiger G45 are ABC engines, in which do not really start to make compression until after the engine is at running temp. Open it up, pull the sleeve and piston, is there chrome missing from the sleeve? any bad lines cut up and down on the piston?
