RE: Chris Craft power system
MACK has a complete driveline for it but it ain't cheap. http://www.mackproductsrc.com/index.htm A kit like that runs on a fine line of being unrealistically fast if you over-power it.
It can be done cheaper with a little looking around.

RE: Chris Craft power system
Hello Walther,
I completed my ChrisCraft about 10 months ago. Used a Rimrfire motor: 35-48 1300kv, and a 60 amp esc. used the prop that came with the kit. It runs very scale like. If I knew how to attach a video I could show you how it goes.
Good luck,
HughO
