RE: Waterproofing RX with water test
It's not bad at all. Spray a coat do something else spray another coat leave it over night. I use corrosion x on my motors but I use the liquid tape on my esc's and rx's. Works great and perfect success rate to date. I am sure there are TONS of other methods that work just as good, just thought I would share mine. Onething I do not like however is the rx balloon

That's a lot of work. Lately I've been using Corrosion X but have also had very good luck using Aero-Plate (no longer made) or The Stuph.

I still bag my RX's just for added and cheap insurance. What I found that is also cheap are disposable baby bottle liners as I don't like balloons either. Some guys use condoms instead of ballooons but I'd rather not. I've heard of using tampons to absorb moisture in radio boxes but I'll be damned if I'll carry those in my toolbox!
