RE: website for large scale boat parts?
I was wondering the same thing, how large is large? The next question is what kind of boat are you looking at building as that will make a difference as well

RE: website for large scale boat parts?
jim's rc boat dock has a 60" plus section covering both discussion, pic's and vid's also builds.
using twins and quad motors.
This could be a good starting point for info atleast.

There are a few good suppliers at this thread also - http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_99...tm.htm#9942904
I also have posted some build pictures which I believe came from Thomas in Germany - some high end builds and some helpful tips that might give you some ideas - http://imageevent.com/justaddwata/mo...ipsfromgermany
By all means start a thread in the gas boat forum once you get started and ask all the questions you like.
