Look up Doug on here. He has plans for a 48" mono hull that are easy to put together and would work great for a shop class.

pm me an email address and I will send you the plans and the notes and photos that Doug sent to me. I am working on getting one of his boats started that will be running a weedeater motor.
Building it out of Balsa you may be looking more at electric then gas.

Right now i have plans for a 24" and a 48", the 24" is alittle small. I know i said i wanted a 40" or bigger, but it will take too much power. If you have a 30" plan or 36" would be great.

Thanks,
Kasey

when you print out the plans I sent to you print them at a different scale to make it a 30" boat.
those plans have been used to make a 72" boat.

instead of printing them all out at 100% do it at 80% or 75%. What ever gives you the dementions you want.

Paul,

I sent all the information that Doug had sent to me. I hope that it gets to you well. there are 3 or 4 emails I sent to you.
I wish I could get my build off the ground and started.
