I have an old plastic boat I bought for my daughter years ago, I actually like the look of it but its cheap and I mean real cheap. Is there a way to fiberglass over the hull and make a copy of it. I don’t care if it runes the original hull I just want to put a gas engine in it but the original is just not structurally able to handle it. Any help would be great. Thanks

Here is a thread I made a while back, may give you some insight. With all the work involved you may be best keeping an eye out for a used a fiberglass hull like the V24 One Design pictured there. I've seen them on Ebay for less than $100 for a hull alone.
