Default Trx .15 head and header on os .15 cv-r

Bought a used nitro vee and had new os .15 in it with air cooled head. I wanna switch to water cooled and was wondering it the trx .15 water cooled head and header would swap over

Probably not. Isn't the Traxxas head a 5-bolt? The header most likely will as I've used some before on OS .12's.

There may be subtle differences between them as the bolt pattern distance could be further or closer and differences in the combustion chambers.

The header will fit fine, car engines have standardized exhaust ports and both engines are based on smallblock side exhaust car engines. The cylinder heads, however, will not. You'll need to track down a water cooled head for the CV-R somewhere. Tower might have one, if not they'll at least have a part number to search fleabay with.
