Will nitro eat a hole in a fiberglass hull
Hi, a week ago I sold a ProBoat 36" Shockwave that I bought 5 years ago and kept in it's original box and was never used. The buyer
emailed me saying
that a leak from the fuel tank ate a hole in the fiberglass hull. Is this possible?.......I have had many nitro boats in
my lifetime, some with cheap plastic hulls and never had a problem. What do you guys think?........thanks

Oh, you're the guy! I saw him belly-aching over on RCG about it. Yes, the Shockwave 36's did have a problem with fuel tanks leaking. Due to whatever resin they used let the fuel soften the hull. I'd go after ProBoat but it's a little late now seeing how it's out of production.
