Adding CF to the back / heel side of the footpad for added ankle strength and base bonding area.
Confident to go ahead and laminate the second Big Bro - keep the wheels turning !
When the foot pad is completed - the ankle / joint - is made up of 3 layers of cloth +
8 layers of unidirectional Carbon fibre - STRONG ! - good bonding area.
Twins !

If this was a surfboard we would be waxing them up and hitting the surf
BUT - its an ********-so the actual work - manufacturing the hardware and fitting the running gear - is only just beginning !
Still to be sanded and polished !

As much as I can recall each one of those special 'epic'surf sessions I have enjoyed whilst rcSurfing - Sharing the Stoke with folk on the beach is also such a special part of it all. This young chap was so enthralled with Bro - just had to get to surf Bro - until he literally could see him no longer ! ...STOKED

Ended off a great weekend of kIds sport /activities - an awesome 80's party bash - with a stunning late evening Bro surf session down at Cemetery beach - The strong NW dropped off - the sky reflected a warm sunset and there was a consistent swell pulsing through to work on a few moves

Have the Big Bro face mould made up - now for the back of his head....
My mate Laurent 'ín France ' - with his Bro-ette and SUP Bro .....
Enjoyed a sweet session down at Fishoek 'in the rain '......Rain or Shine - its always rc Surfing time
http://youtu.be/ph28XwD92PU The bigger' Bro has a far better scale appearance on the 28" board and has not effected the performance in any way...!

Bonding the 4mm s/s Hatch cover studs in place....needs to be 'very strong' - applying the epoxy with a syringe creates hydraulic pressure - forcing the epoxy deeper into the foam cells - making for a better bond.

Hatch Cover 4 mm s/s securing stud mounts complete. Use the Nylon knurl nuts to avoid over-tightening - which can lift the studs out of the bond
