Lotstolearn

I just purchased an 80s plastic 30 inch Lindenburg Constellation that I want to restore. It needs to be repainted. Some of the fittings are in good shape but removing them in order to paint it would make life much easier. After painting them I would like to reinstall the ones that are in good shape. According to the directions they were supposed to be cemented on. Do any of you know how I can remove them without breaking them or damaging the plastic? I appreciate your help!
