tape for hatchs

Default tape for hatchs

HIi new to boating i have a blackjack 24 was wondering what tape to use on the hatch cover ??

There's lots of options. The 3M tape is very expensive and seems to be only good on straight areas. I've used Prather tape which is thicker and more flexible. I'm using Renfrew Hockey stick tape now that you can find on eBay for great prices and has good flexibility for curved areas plus has a variety of colors to choose from. Ice Hockey players use it on their sticks and pads.
I've seen some electric boat owners using electrical tape but I wouldn't trust it for blow-overs.
