Default Question about exhaust

Hey guys. I have a question about exhaust. I run a tuned pipe and of course they are loud. I run on a lake where there are homes around. Do those little resonators they sell on eBay and all that make much of a difference as far as sound goes?

Actually, they do. In some cases, they also increase the power the engine puts out as well

Best to address the noise before the neighbors do. It is amazing how quickly a complaint will come if someone is having fun.
I am not sure what ebay resonators you are referring to - only one I see is not something I would put much faith in. .
The best bolt on muffler IMO is the TMod. Theres some info on one model here - http://www.modelgasboats.com/magazin...-fiber-muffler.

Other (more expensive yet considerably effective) options include pipes with an internal stinger or european pipes like the Jerone Tune or similar.

Sometimes water injection can be effective though care should be taken not to damage motor
.
You will find you can never be too quiet for some people unfortunately.

Mike Tyson makes some good mufflers and does custom work also, he's made a few for me.
No, he's not the boxer, he's little skinny guy.

I attached a fishing leader to mine in case it might come off. I've lost mufflers before.
I see you lost a rudder pin, that's why I carry old 3/16" flex cables around yet although not running nitro in years.

Yeah I have lost a rudder pin in the past. Good fun ended when that happens! Yes I have a cable on the muffler just in case! I don’t want a $50 muffler at the bottom of the lake!
