Cananzi and ItsFishi Thanks for the info, that link has been added to my Favorites so I won't forget. The info I was looking for.
Specially for my other NQD-leaky-project, must look familar to the Aussies:

NQD-copy of the Graupner Jet Sprint.

Jimi I live 20 minutes drive from the beach. Ponds and canals near my house (for testing).
Wave-like we are very poor. Sandy coastline, (2-4) sandbanks parrallel to the shore, mostly westerly (onshore) winds, hardly any swell, if then it lasts max 10 hours.
But enough choppy waves to do some jumping. Tubing will be rare, but you never know.
Always good to go to the sea.

What started out as a sabbatical year helping a friend of mine getting started with his beachclub in Zandvoort, ended in 9,5 years working and enjoying the beach.
1990-1999 I have been working as cook at a beach-club in Zandvoort. During the season I slept in a small cabin next to the club.

Waking up at 6:00 am, get a cup of coffee and sea 60-100 meter in front of you. That's (was) the life.
Done some boogie-boarding on the rainy and windy days, and sailed with Hobie Cats and Prindle 16's.

Hi Crew,
The Turnigy ESC's arrived today and yes they are exactly the same.
They just cost about 10 bucks cheaper from Hobby King than a Seaking on Ebay alright!!!

Fish,
Nice paint job.
That board is gonna look so sick out in the surf.
Well done.

Stonky,
It looks just a little bit on the cold side to be goin' in on a rescue mission if you ever had a breakdown, lol.
Do you have any Polar Bears and Killer Whales living around there?

We just get the odd Great White and a lot of Tigers and Bronzies around here.

Rainer,
How long to go until you get to have your second run in some waves?
I bet you are keen for another surf session after your long hibernation.

Running one of these boards several times a week just puts so much wear and tear on everything and I am constantly cleaning, fixing leaks, cracks, o-rings, Dudes, cables, mounts, connectors etc.

At least you only get to break things for a few days a year and then spend the rest of the year preparing and waiting.

3 to 4 foot and offshore again this morning, I think I will go and catch a few at "Stockfence" for an hour or so.
Wonder what will get broken today?

Hi Crew,
Well, I didn't end up gettin' to the beach this mornin' but there was a few perfect little waves comin through "Stockies" on the way to work and there would have been plenty of real surfing action in the area all week.

I think I better stop messin' around with these models so much and start hittin' it myself again.

Ronky,
Wow mate, that looks like an awesome alterenative to a paddle out.

Rainman,
Good luck @ the North Sea

JIMI

Hey Guys, I just got a used RC Surfer on Craigs list it's a modded one from RC Surfrider. It's in good condition and John fron Surf Curls is hooking me up with some parts. I'll post some pix soon. I have'nt gotten it in the water yet, the prop shaft was bent the motor cooling coil was blocked and one of the cooling fins has the tip broken off, but it does have the "DUDE" but he needs a little work too. The motor and ESC seem to be solid so far, I'm going to put a cheap 2.4 radio in it. I cant wait to ride some waves with it!!!!

Alien Dude,

That is JIMI Findrix flying at "Point Moore - Geraldton - West Oz" on your poster.

Cool idea, sounds like a bit of fun in the sun.

Be sure to post plenty of YOUR pics after the event.

As for the invite to other Euro RC Surfers, I hope you meant "meet them" and not "meat them", LOL.

Jimi, That's A Cool Pic Of One Of Your Sessions For The Cause In France !!!

As A Grom, We Had A Steep And Long Down Hill For Skateboarding Back In The Days Before Urethane Wheels And Good Sealed Bearings.
We Termed It "The Meat Grinder" For Obvious Reasons. I Still Have Scares From That Place.

Just Brought Me Back When I Was 12 Years Old, Still Stoked Today ...

Great Pic, Great Idea

This Is Great For Our Sport !!!
