You Can Modify The Deck To Fit A Dude.
It will require cutting / sanding Obvious Parts
on The Deck, as you will sea soon Once The Pack Arrives.

All Production Boards are becoming scarce, I used to sea a lot of Sharks
Roaming Ebay, But Lately Its all NQD and a few Kyosho

Jimi weight shifter is on hold, as the servo I was using shed it's teeth. That was my last servo I thinkand as I've been thru several lately testing has to wait till I get another.
When it worked it appeared to dig in the rail on the wave face and hold the edge but I gotta tell ya the waves were so small it wasn't easy to compare
the surf seems to be on the up and if I can dig up a servo I'll continue with it. But I do like the idea of just gettin some fun waves for a few and worry about new ideas later.
I'd really think you should try the idea as all your waves look perfect for it, sucky lefts. Chuck in 150grams give or take on the left side, pull into the barrel and let me know your thoughts.
Have a good one

what a deal ,i wonder if he has any more , my friend carl has taken the boardshark to new levels . i think the NQD is great but it leaks , the shark is dry. you might have to add weight to the keel to right it

Here is a Shark deck lid cut down and sanded ready to paint, I have 2 like this and love them never a leak problem with a Shark.
I also have another with the Shark Dude still on it, that I epoxyed the ankles and molding them in. Molded his waist line and made water tight with fishing line and epoxy.

G'day Micro - Crew,

Bob and I ran 5 packs at "Pages" this morning.
Even sat in the car on the beach and ran the Dude while a short period of rain passed over.
Waves were OK.
Should be a bit better this arvo when the tide is a lot lower.
Hopefully it will be grindin' by 4:00.

Pics from this morning comin' through soon.

Hope your all out killing a few waves.

Sea ya.

Fish,

That add is sooooooo suss man.
I am sure you totally agree.

First, the price is double what you pay forthe samepiece of Chinese trash on ebay.
Secondly, it states, "Don't be fooled by cheap imitations". Lol. (They don't come any cheaper than a leaky f****** NQD NEVERQUITEDRY)
Last, the guy has the gaul to use a video of a REAL ********. (Although it looks pretty stock and the vid is crap)

This guy is or was obviously deliberately trying to deceive inexperiencedpeople into thinking they had found the Original RC Surfer.
Ripoff scammer, what a Joke.

Hugh on Maui reporting on new project in works.
First 2boards are working great - but I want to get away from "keel with lead" for self righting.
I am now building my 3rd 100% carbon board - slight vee and moderate rocker but no keel.
I am installing a drop down high aspect weighted bulb on a centerboard (like a canting keel in modern sailboats) - it retracts flush with surfboard bottom.
I use a 3rd servo that lowers and raises this centerboard to self right the surfboard.
Hopefully I will now be able to have a board that will not want to 'stick in the wave face' when tube riding.
Will post pictures when complete.

Maui John and Fishi,

Thanks for your comments on our pics.
The waves are only tiny but definately great fun for the little plastic surfers.
In the arvo I was standing out on the end of the rocks and taking off about 10 feet around the corner.
As they pass the end of the groyne there is only about1 to 1 1/2metres between the pit and the rocks and itwas dredging pretty dry.
Bob was setup down thebeach about 100m or more to get the angle.
There was a couple of moments that I thought I was washed onto the rocks.
Certainly had a bitof adrenalin pumping and a few tourist who were sitting on the rocks havinga beer were hooting asthe Dudejust made the critical sectionpast the tip of the groyne.
He didtake some heavy wipeouts too.
Great funalright.

Hugh,
That sounds sick.
3rd channel feveris taking hold.
It will be very interesting to see how a flat bottomed hull performs.
If yours and Fishies new mods start setting new standards in tube riding and ever take hold then soon wemay all need 4 channels tobuild aboard that can keep up with you guys.

Sea ya.

ive got ideas for 4 channels, would have to be a full custom stick designed around the idea. it would have side to side weight shift as well as front to rear. with a folding prop system that is just used to get out and and catch waves, once on the wave cut the throttle, prop folds back and really surf just using rudder and weight shift.
just an idea and not something ill be working on anytime soon if ever.

Hey Crew,

Admiral Jimi Findrix, commander of the western fleet here, LOL

An RC Surfer NIB, 2 slightly used Lisa's in mint condition and a Shark all arrived in the mail today.
Looks like I have enough quality hulls to keep shredding forever and a day now.

Yeooowww!!!!!!!!!!!!

Only had a quick peek at the Shark, wow I think I am gonna like it.'
The little channels under the rails look so cool and the hull feels nice and solid compared to the NQD's.

I'd like to get my hands on a few more of those if I could but I don't see any around so just getting hold of one is a bonus.

Sea ya.

Hey Fishi,

If I want to increase speed but only change the motor and nothing else, what do I need to do?
Do I get a higher KV motor???
I really don't understand all the geeky RC stuff.
I just know if my board does what I want it to or not.
I would like to increase speed a bit but I don't wanna change the batteries or prop etc.

If I use a high KV motor, will that give more speed?
What will be the trade off / adverse effect if any?
Will I get shorter run times?

I know you know that I dunno what the ****.
I just want a little bit more top end speed in my current configuration.

JIMI
