I Mostly have more comic quirps than Knowledge to offer.
Just a way to keep things light and for humor.
I wish I had 1/10 the Surfboard building knowledge you all have here...

My Fav's are Longboard vs Rc Surfer (MJ), Seal The Deal (YPC), and Board Shark Custom with Gopro Pete Hodgson and Karl.
Not in any specific order, but those video's have "Gone Viral" all over them.

Howzit Curls.....!!!!......agreed.....'all the video's' are just great....every single one tells its own story and expresses the STOKE the ******** is having.
We have just clocked 100 video's and have enjoyed it so much....Yesterday evening 'after our camera finally packed up'......I surfed until it was just short of 'pitch dark'......and SAMMY ! the friendly seal was back again - having the usual fun......
I while back I saw a video of a scale surfboard with LED lights fitted....really cool - and - thought it would be really helpful fitting LED strips under the glass on either side of a rcSurer to help see it better as the light fades - especially in Winter over here.....as we lose the light by around 6:00 pm.....
It will also make a great video...the LED light is absorbed into the water.......it looks really cool !

K-H2o Kite and everyone else as well.. no-one is off the hook for encouraging me building one myself, time wise orfor better or worse..... lol
Larry tube like your work with them rails and the Willy's (i think) but that Cobra is just to fat... getting a tank of gas and a set of rear tyres every fill up is just too expensive to contemplate.. lol
Kite's calender always has nice shots and hey Surfcurls nice to see your back in action...
and just for laughs thought i would share some pics of what happens when you put a new half built creation on a high bench then knock it down into hard steel things when cutting a 'bucket' for it to sit in... LOL... reminds me of my real boards when young getting more dings on the trainor pushbike goin to and from the beach..

here are the ding pics of the tail and the smashed off nose..... but i did manage to get 8lyrs of 6oz on a glass plate layed up for a deck and apart from the gladwrap cling wrap buckling a bit from the non-happy resin trip it seems to have happened ok and released from the glass plate just fine.

ps.... Q. would it be advisable to put a styrene/wax finish coat over the deck layupbefore cuttingit to shapeor not worry about it till cut.. or maybe not at all..?

Resin- ator Nice vid your boardcruses!!!and what a cool spot !!! Diffrent looking keels. I don't have my vid editing goingandI got a lot of water spots fromthat day so no show for now.
Cave- If you styrene/wax coat (hot coat) a layer you protect it from contaminates and dirt ( paw prints) but you have to sand to recoat, Hope that answers ?

Thanks, The Gopro can be frustrating! I scored the longest tube of my rc surfing life with a gopro mounted and working, with rain-x applied...mostly black footage. The only part I posted was it coming out, about 3/4 thru my Gopro video. I thought your video was unreal!

I just did some youtubing andchecked out the last month of rcsurfing... saw the resinators 48" in action and a couple of other vids of his rcsurfing.
Just sayin butrecomendto allwho are keen on this rcsurfin trip tocheck out the Randy Crawford /RCHawaiin style of vids for some very fine state of art surfing..... Bro surfer is good too but this post is more about the resinator and the big boards...
btwmaui john without your influence where would we all be.... well done to all who post and look fwd to more envelope pushing from all... espec the maui/so-cal big board crew.
