Default nitro vee remote starter

Anyone know if it would be possible to add a remote starter to the nitro vee. I realize it has the rts system which I use but it sure would be nice to just crank the thing back up -- I have several extra remotes and servos --- Any ideas would be appreciated.

i know theres one for the t-maxx, it pretty much the same system so you more than likely can.you take the easy start off the battery and rig a servo to push the button.

The last that I knew, the Nitro-Vee came with an onboard electric starter! With that and the RTS system, it adds a lot of weight to a small boat. If I had one, it would go on a serious diet!

The easy starter and the RTS system are basicall just two electric motors. They don't add a whole lot of weight.

This would never work, because you need a glow plug igniter to start.

yes it would, ive had a t-maxx for over a year. and never once used a glow plug igniter. the easy start heats up the plug too.
