Ummmmm, ok.... appears the knife is even backwards with the sharp side pointed back. Hey, I give him SOME credit for ingenuity. Although not much

I like the idea, If was done with a better looking knife and not put on backwards it would be pritty cool. although could just be the redneck in me talking........

I've been using knife blades for a rudder for years...

Having it the right way around makes it even work better.
The boat is noticably faster than with the stock wedgeshaped blade.

If you lose a race ? Bye bye Harri..
Good thing I'm not Japanese, otherwise the razorsharp blade might come in handy after (another) second place after my son...

It's the tiny fish, that don't manage to get out of the way that get hurt; they tend to get stuck on the blade, almost cut in half.

Regards, Jan.

Makes me wonder if the kitchen screen door survived the project, or if it's part of all the aluminum bits we're seeing.

Oddly enough, my wife doesn't allow me to use her kitchen utensils on my boats..., I keep an eye on sales for stainless steel knifes for my rudderblades, the hardware comes from Hopf-Modellbau-Technik in Germany.
