Default 47 Twincraft Mono Nitro to Gas conversion

I have a 47inch Twincraft with a picco .67 nitro that if I keep I'm thinking of converting to gas anyone ever done this?? What would I have to buy besides the engine? how would the gas engine perform compared to the Picco ? Thanks Phil

Default RE: 47 Twincraft Mono Nitro to Gas conversion

Motor mounts, a new fuel tank with fittings for gas or an IV bag, redoing the flex cable and stuffing tube to mate up to the new mill and probably several other small things.
How it would perform is up in the air as Picco's are strong engines. Gas is a lot cheaper than nitro but if you put the Picco up for sale, it would go quickly as there is still a market for them.
