My LHS bought up most of the Rio 51's that Tower had in stock, www.hobby-sports.com and are slowly selling them off on eBay but you can contact them directly.

congrats! now the job of replacing-as-it-fails starts! you will want to upgrade as you use it more. it is a solid foundation to start from though, as i've learned with mine.

The boat comes with a Zen so keep it a Zen. I'd look at a mid level mod NEXT winter. Run it stock this year and into next summer. After that, move up to a more powerful engine

Still working with my RCMK's but they have a lot of potential. I've got 2 Sikk's also but have their bugs, mostly with the starter.

RCMK is just coming out with an Evo version of their engines, they've got a few more tricks inside.

do yourself a favor and just buy an M5 from warehouse hobbies. i'm pretty sure you can buy the engine/clutch assembled, ready to install. the M5 is based on a Zenoah engine and will push your Rio to speeds fast enough to keep it interesting. of course, if it hasnt been mentioned enough, ditch the pipe the Rio comes with. its a head breaker and power sop.

I paid $269.00 for mine (the S-254, not the Evo) before the price drop (just my luck) so $10.00 more for one that is the latest incarnation isn't bad.

That's kind of the way that I felt also. OK, that and I got a helluva deal on a modded Sikk. Zen's might go the way of the Do-Do bird if RCMK has anything to do with it. A lot of people won't tell you about getting Zen's with bent cranks right from the factory either! Some of those people are like hard-core Chevy, Ford or MoPar freaks.
