Default Please help with a scratch build design.

Hi All,

I am starting a new project boat. I am designing a catamaram for a OS 46 VRM inboard. I believe from reading about these boats in the forums that a 14" wide by 31" long is the size I will need for this engine combo. If I am misinformed, please let me know. I also need some help with the size and height of the tunnel. And finally, I have read the the CG should be appoximately 33% from the transom. Is this correct? I will be making a plug for casting in Fiberglass and Carbon fiber. This should make a lightweight abd strong boat. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

I think your engine selection to be too large for the size of hull. Unless you want a real speedy boat.

Zero reverse of course.
