DU-BRO Push Rod Seals

I bought these for my new radio box and can not wrap my head around how they are to be installed. Can anyone help me out?

RE: DU-BRO Push Rod Seals
They're in the right order in the picture. The insert goes through the radio box, small end first and glued into place. The boot needs to be trimmed off as for some reason it comes with extra on it. The boot is then slipped over the insert than the O-ring slips over it to hold it in place.

Ok, I get it now. Wasn't sure about the extra material.

Make your own boots out of 1/8" plastic rods and use piano wire for the connection. Just use grease kneaded into1/8" rod to keep water out. Piano wire comes in various diameter. Remember you need only 20 degrees either way for turning.

Grease in the pushrod tube is still the simpilest to do AND last forever. I still have original tubes doing the job with the ORIGINAL grease after 60 years.

RE: DU-BRO Push Rod Seals
I'm going to use a carbon fiber push rod for the rudder like I use on my tail rotor of my heli.

RE: DU-BRO Push Rod Seals
I just did that on my new gas 'rigger, carbon fiber tubing through the Du-Bro pushrod seals.
