Looking for a good RC car.
I'm looking for a 4wd off road car that will push about 60 mph. I have looked at the e-revo brush less and its very nice but also very expensive, Are there any similar cars in 400 and under range? I've googled this but most cars and sites don't say anything about whether it does 25 or 105.. so just asking and hoping to get some advice from an experienced person in RC's.. TIA

gonna have a hard time there. anything that is 4wd and BL powered that comes to mind will cost around $600 plus lipos.
you may be able to find something used in that price range. unless you look for a buggy.

RE: Looking for a good RC car.
Unless you build/modify a car yourself, your not gonna be able to buy something that goes that fast in the sub $400 range. About as close as you can get is a Slash 4x4 with 3s lipo and optional gearing. Beyond that, its either Savage Flux HP or E Revo brushless which are 630$ + not including lipos, chargers, gearing and tires needed to reach those speeds.

are the 1/16 compared to the 1/8ths more or less much worse at handling?

RE: Looking for a good RC car.
find a roller and build it up as the funds become avaiable then you also get some good practice on working on it if found that its 70% fix and 20% run and 10% waiting for parts and finding time to do it lol
