Nitro to electric??
Seeing as how I only have one nitro, and got it in need of a $150 engine to get it running, is there a way I can convert it to electric for less or about the same? It's an older rustler. Seeing as how I have more experience with electric compared to nitro, I'd rather have it electric. I would prefer to have reverse, but if that isn't possible for under $150, but can have forward and brake, that'll be fine. I'd like to go brushless on it too, if possible.
EDIT: I was just googling it, and I have seen the new style nitro rustler to electric, but not the old. That is why I am asking.

RE: Nitro to electric??
It can be done for under $150 provided you also have lipos already (maybe even if you don't).
You will likely have to make a motor mount yourself though and figure out some way to mount your battery.

RE: Nitro to electric??
could just buy a electric RTR brushed rustler for $190, and sell the nitro as a roller for probably $100-120 or so on ebay I would guess...
Looking at the pics on traxxa's site it looks like it might be kinda hard to convert a nitro rustler though.

RE: Nitro to electric??
Take a look at this thread:

He converted a nitro firestorm to electric, the nitro rustler seems to be of similar layout.
