Considering that they've chosen to make it the heaviest car in1/10th 4wdvia a milled alloy chassis and parts, it'll make it the pretty fat chick of the field.

there won't be any b44.1T ... i would be great if they did though ... the b44.1 is lipo ready with v2 shocks .. the weight of the castor shouldn't hurt anything considering most guys are adding weight to their b44's when they go lipo

The SK10 is not alloy but all plastic ($159) like the new TQ Racing. Now the Castor Sniper is all alloy at $350 All the RTR's are plastic. At this price point you could upgrade any part of the SK10 to Sniper alloy parts that you would feel needs them. Diggity designs has created a carbon fiber upgrade for the SK10 to be sold exclusively through Castor Racing. Pricing/Availability is yet to be released. I would love to hear from guys who actually own/race SK10's...

Jump onto rctech or the caster forums then. More info over there unfortunately since there are more racers buying these.

There have been some new upgrades such as gear diffs, etc... It is a very nice car now.

BTW, the heavy aluminum one is 1280 grams. It is actually one of the lighter cars out there.
