RC Car bought off ebay
Hi can some tell me how i can find out what model of RC car i have please. The person i bought it off says it is a hpi re4 or a hot bidies kyosho tamyia? Sorry these are the best pics i can take on my phone[/b]

I don't know what to tell you other than the Internet is a wonderful place to look things up by merely doing a Google search, oftentimes there's pictures and everything,and not so good if you don't.

looks similar to a RS4
honestly the battery box doesn't look HPI, I've owned 4 different RS4 models (original onroad, Evo 3, Mt1, MT2) and none of them had a battery tray like that
Also the motor mounts on the chassis are not right. Every HPI RS4 I've owned has 6 sliding mount points and 4 static holes that line up to the HPI T-series mounting brackets perfectly.
The center gear mounts are also not right. the center hole should be tiny. + the where the front and rear diff's casing pokes through is too small it should be more rectangular.
That is not an HPI IMO

Figured it out its a Redcat Nitro Lightning(or the exceed version which is cheaper)...
Hope you didn't spend alot on it seeing it needs ALOT of parts and new they are only $139 with everything...
