Default novak havoc sport and an idiot

well as im sure you could tell from the title, i own aNovakhavoc sport brushless setup, 8.5t brushless motor and 2s esc. i have 2 nimh packs but i am sick of these big heavy bricks in my truck!! i want to go lipo, but i cant figure outwhatc rating i need for my esc. if someone could tell me what it is or where to find the info that would be great. also, what do you guys think about having 2 4000 mah packs wired inparallel, stuck together and put in a stadium truck. i thinkit'llgive me nicepunch, good handling, and good traction, not to mention a lot of runtime. i just bash, i dont have a track to go to thats near me, so i make the best of what i got! tell me what you guys think

thanks

id try to stick wit 20c minimum for 4000 mah or more batteries, 25c ideally. If you go lower in c rating then its about a 30c minimum, and the c rating should get higher as the mah go down with the same setup in the same truck, but as for wiring them in parallel, it would work, but why would you do it since it seems you're already trying to cut weight (two lipos usually weigh more than 1 nimh) instead you could just buy a higher mah pack. I suggest the hobbyking lipos

Persdonaly, I don't pay much attention to C ratings but to MAH numbers. Most brushless set ups will never come close to loading a battery up enough to worry about it's Crating.
I run dirt oval with a 10.5 in a Custom Works Dominator with only a 3200 MAH 20C lipo and the pack will run for 10 minutes and never get even warm. I have seen guys running 5000 plus 30C packs
and there is no diffrence in performance compaired to what I have.
