Default How do i seal my engine

I have heard that air leaks can make it hard to tune an engine properly. I just resently bought an XTM 24.7 for my tmaxx and was wonder how to seal it up?

Just get some silicone carb sealer from your hardware store. I think theres one called liquidseal or soemthing.

Whatever you do, dont get any inside your engine! lol

RTV Silicone Oxygen sensor safe. Seal the carb seat first applying lite coat. Make sure none gets into the very bottom of the carb and into the engine. If you want to seal more, you can do the butt of the engine.

Also, it's best to apply that stuff with a thumb tack or something so that you don't get too much on there.
