I'm not sure you can tell if the mesh is correct by hearing it, usually you can tell by looking at it

are you talkin about the mesh between the clutch bell and spur? if so just put a sheet of note book paper between them then push em together and tighten the screws. you shoule be able to pull out the paper fairly easy and it should be crinkeled.

sounds tight. (or way too loose)

put a piece of post it note in the teeth push the engine squarely againsts spur and tighten.

i dont use papper anymore, i use my eyes and ears and sense of touch (grab the bell and rock the spur)

That video doesn't really show anything except exceptional drivetrain noise. There's not much that can be heard.

Like some of the guys have already said "put a piece of paper between the clutch bell teeth and the drive wheel teeth and tighten your engine back down". Thats how it should be done.
If its set to loose you'll see it pretty darn quick when your clutch bell eats its teeth or if your using a plastic spur gear your clutch bell will eat the spur gear. If its set to tight you'll feel a jerking as you push your buggy.
Just use the paper trick, works great.
Cigerette paper (RIZLA+) folded twice is perfect.
At least cigarettes are usefull for some thing.
