As long as the rims are 2.2 rear buggy wheels, they will fit.

Probably a typo... because 1/8 scale wheels are 3.2".

is the bandit the only traxxas RC to use a normal sized wheel, I thought most of their stuff used odd sizes

Yes, it is. Unless the rusty fronts are 2.2.

You should scrap traxxas wheels, the design is flawed. The tires rip from the lip that you glue onto the rim. (It rips where you can see the tire meet the rim) I would mount proline tires on non traxxas design wheels.

Just my $.02

I just had a brand new traxxas tire rip, I've also ripped all four talons on my erevo. Im just saying. It may be a better investment to stay away from traxxas wheels. One of those rips actually later caused my tire to rip in half.
Get cheap proline dish rims and some good proline calibers or dirt hawgs.

Velocity 2.2s are 10 bucks for the front and back. 10 bucks is cheap.

Nearly $10, check ebay or your lhs. Itll probably be cheaper on ebay and no shipping cost at your lhs.

I bet you could RIT dye them, painting rims would be bad. The paint would scratch off.

i have another idea. if i was to put 1/8 buggy tires on the Bandit, would i need to change anything besides adding 17mm hexes? i am thinking of these unless if anyone knows of cheaper ones.
