looking for a decent ebay brushless motor
well im headed to disneyland in just under 2 weeks and after that we are going to go to the beach for a few days. i took my t4 and revo to the beach a few years ago and had a blast. im looking for a brushless motor to replace the mamba 5700 that i bent the shaft on. cheap it best. i figured ebay because they have cheap prices and fast shipping. a genaric motor doesnt bother me as long as its reliable. im looking at putting it in my sc10 but it could possibly go in my rustler too

it looks like everything will get here after my trip so i may just leave the truck at home. the stock sc10 motor isnt sealed and i dont want to get sand in it.

Look into this one:

I just sold my stampede that i had that motor in and it was great. More than fast enough and the motor never gave me a minutes trouble. Since you are in California you should get it in less than a week because in Ky i still get my stuff from hobbypartz in about exactly a weeks time.

Yes, its a great motor and works just fine in a 2wd off road truck[8D] My father in law has one in his Speed T as well and we never had any problem out of either of them and lots of power too. Just gear it conservatively (35mph or so) and you should never have a problem.

i ordered one. hopefully it'll get here in time. i usually gear low anyway because of how small my track is. ill be using either a mamba max esc or the stock sc10 esc.

Good deal. let us know how you like it[8D] I took my stampede to the beach and the sand got the motor a little warmer than normal, but i dont beleive it was anywhere near the danger zone. Its just to be expected with all the drag that sand creates. In an SC truck though, those small tires take a huge load off. You wont have the first problem from it[8D]

yeah ill let you know how it does. ill probably get most of my stuff from hobbypartz. i didnt realize they were as cheap as hobbyking and a US dealer. i probably should have picked up some sand tires but i think the stocks will work okay. bowties worked good on my t4
